What is Chiropractic?

Do I need a doctor’s referral?

No Referral Needed! We are considered as a primary healthcare profession. We can handle and file ACC claims for you without the need for a referral.

What is a Subluxation?

A vertebral subluxation is the improper motion of spinal joints which interfere with the nervous system - i.e. the link between the brain and the body. The delicate nerves exiting the spine can be irritated, stretched and sometimes compressed or pinched. Even with this nerve irritation, subluxations can exist without obvious pain or discomfort.

What is a Chiropractic Adjustment?

Adjustments are an application of a specific and precise force into the spine with the intention to change the position and motion of spinal joints. These can be performed with speed, light force or via a device or a specially designed table. over time this process helps correct abnormal structural and neural patterns, allowing the body to feel, move, function and heal better

How often do I need to see a Chiropractor?


The initial appointment which includes a detailed history and thorough physical examination enables the chiropractor to create a tailored care plan just for you which will include how frequently you will need treatment to reach your health goals. This varies for everyone and is done on a case by case basis. However many people seek regular chiropractic care as a part of a healthy lifestyle to improve their health and wellbeing

How long until I feel better?

Many factors can affect the healing process. Age, degree of damage to the spine, quality & quantity of rest & exercise, and nutrition are just some of the factors. Some notice changes almost immediately. Others discover it can take many weeks, months or even years, especially in chronic cases.
Many patients choose chiropractic as part of a healthy lifestyle and continue to have regular chiropractic checks, thus maintaining the health of their spine and nervous system.

What types of health insurance do you accept?

Many health insurance companies will cover  chiropractic care depending on the plan that you have. It would be best to call your health insurance company to double-check if you are covered.
